  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the cream sauce by stirring in heavy cream and gradually adding Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Add the spinach, stirring until wilted and combined.
  6. Combine the drained fettuccine with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. You can also substitute heavy cream with low-fat milk.
