  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion turns translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the ground turkey, cooking until it is browned and no longer pink.
  4. Toss in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring constantly, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  7. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined, creating a creamy sauce.
  8. Season the stroganoff with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve over freshly cooked egg noodles or rice and enjoy!
