Delicious crispy chicken taquitos filled with shredded chicken, cheese, and salsa, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend), grated
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 small corn or flour tortillas
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the shredded chicken, cheese, salsa, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet until soft.
  3. Assemble the taquitos with a spoonful of chicken mixture in each tortilla, rolling them tightly.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry taquitos until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with your favorite dips.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For reheating, place them in the oven at 350°F.
