Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup plain or Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare two separate bowls – one for the beaten eggs and another for the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Mix the grated Parmesan cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning in the breadcrumb bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  5. Press the tender into the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture, coating thoroughly.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
  7. Lightly spray the tenders with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
