  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: vegetables (carrots, potatoes, onions)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side (optional).
  3. Transfer the chicken to the crockpot and pour chicken broth over it.
  4. Add chopped vegetables around the chicken in the crockpot (optional).
  5. Set the cooking time for 6-8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks and serve with the broth and veggies.
