  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Combine ricotta cheese and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl, whisk until smooth.
  4. Add ground cinnamon to the ricotta mixture and mix well.
  5. Crack in the eggs one at a time, whisk until fully incorporated.
  6. Sift all-purpose flour into the bowl and fold gently into the mixture.
  7. Pour in vanilla extract and milk, mixing until smooth.
  8. Fold in chopped nuts gently.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
