Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets Salmon
  • 1/4 cup White miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped scallions
  • 2 wedges Lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Arrange the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased foil, skin-side down.
  4. Glaze the Salmon: Generously brush the prepared glaze over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Pop the salmon in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Toast the Sesame Seeds: While the salmon bakes, toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions, and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.

Notes

For an extra punch of flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
