Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimp in a bowl, combining olive oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the coating by mixing flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper in another bowl.
  3. Fry the shrimp in a pan over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain the shrimp on paper towels and serve hot, optionally garnished with lemon or green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, include some sesame oil in the marinade or double-dredge the shrimp for extra crunch.
