  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Toss in the drumsticks until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon zest, tossing again to coat the drumsticks.
  4. Arrange the drumsticks on the baking sheet, spaced out for crispiness, and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with your favorite sides or a squeeze of lemon juice.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the olive oil and spices overnight. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
