A rich and velvety flourless chocolate cake made with Greek yogurt, perfect for indulgent yet healthy celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat or 2%)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder (gluten-free if needed)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips or chunks, if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cake for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
