Rich, fudgy brownies with chocolate frosting, perfect for game day celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • To taste chocolate frosting
  • To taste edible decorations for football designs
  • To taste walnuts or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave.
  2. Combine the melted butter with the granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
  6. Add the chocolate chips and fold them into the batter.
  7. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
  8. Bake the brownies at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool the brownies completely in the dish on a wire rack.
  10. Decorate with chocolate frosting and edible decorations.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
