  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
