A comforting and flavorful dish combining chow mein noodles with sautéed mushrooms and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 200g chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Once they are perfectly al dente, drain them and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pan or wok.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the hot oil until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  5. Combine the cooked noodles, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and oyster sauce (if using) in the pan.
  6. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  7. Season your dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
