  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Seasonings to taste (e.g., rosemary, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Sauté the pork chops in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  6. Pour in the white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and any desired seasonings until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them well in the creamy sauce.
  9. Serve the pork chops with a side of creamy mashed potatoes.
