Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Marinate the Flank Steak: Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Chill and Infuse: Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat the Grill: Fire up your grill and preheat it to medium-high heat.
  5. Ready the Steak: Remove the flank steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature.
  6. Grill to Perfection: Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Rest the Steak: Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  8. Garnish & Serve: Serve with fresh herbs if desired.
