Delicious wraps filled with marinated grilled chicken, crunchy romaine, and tangy Caesar dressing, all wrapped in a golden tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large tortilla wraps
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup croutons, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Create the Marinade: In a bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk together to create a zesty marinade.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breast to the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes—or longer if time allows for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the Grill: While the chicken marinates, preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ready for that delicious sear.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the preheated grill. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Once done, remove it from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Slice the Chicken: After resting, slice the grilled chicken into thin, appetizing strips that will easily fit inside your wraps.
  6. Toss the Greens: In a large bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing. Make sure each piece of lettuce is well-coated in that creamy goodness.
  7. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Begin layering with the dressed lettuce, followed by the sliced chicken, grated Parmesan, and crushed croutons.
  8. Roll the Tortilla: Carefully roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides to encapsulate the filling beautifully.
  9. Crisp the Wrap: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Place the wrap seam-side down in the pan, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  10. Slice and Serve: Remove from the skillet, slice the wrap in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy the satisfying crunch and delightful flavors!

Notes

Wraps are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
