Delicious and satisfying Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps filled with flavorful beef and fresh vegetables, perfect for a lighter meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 1 head of butter or romaine lettuce, leaves separated

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat until hot.
  2. Brown the ground beef: Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add flavorful aromatics: Toss in the minced garlic, grated ginger, diced bell peppers, and shredded carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Mix in the sauces: Stir in soy sauce and sriracha (if using), and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly: Remove from heat and let mixture cool slightly.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the lettuce leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Store any leftover beef mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. The lettuce is best enjoyed fresh.
