  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and mushrooms in the skillet until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture, stirring gently until evenly coated.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheats beautifully on the stove or in the microwave.
