A quick and comforting dish featuring juicy baked chicken breasts seasoned with ranch spices and drizzled with a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or homemade)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (regular or smoked)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or buttermilk (to thin sauce)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. Combine the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken to the greased baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Whisk together the sour cream with milk in a separate bowl until smooth.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking.
  9. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

For quicker cooking, butterfly the chicken breasts. Enhance the ranch flavor with dried herbs like dill or chives.
