Delicious sliders made with shredded rotisserie chicken, creamy fillings, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for gatherings.

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls)
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the slider buns horizontally, separating the tops from the bottoms.
  4. Mix the shredded rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns.
  6. Layer the cheese slices over the chicken mixture.
  7. Close the sliders by placing the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  8. Prepare the butter mixture by mixing melted butter with parsley and optional poppy seeds.
  9. Brush the tops of the buns generously with the butter mixture.
  10. Bake the sliders, covered loosely with foil, for 10 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
