A low-carb twist on classic Chicken Cordon Bleu that combines tender chicken, savory ham, and gooey cheese in a creamy casserole.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup sliced ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (Swiss or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish generously with olive oil or butter.
  2. Combine the prepared shredded chicken, sliced ham, and 1.5 cups of shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the chicken and ham blend, stirring to coat well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
