Delicious jalapeño poppers filled with creamy cheese and topped with crispy bacon, perfect for gatherings.

  • 12 to 14 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Carefully cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the reserved crumbled bacon over the filled jalapeños.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

Serve with sour cream dip, guacamole, or salsa. Can be made ahead and frozen.
