A comforting recipe for golden, juicy, and crispy baked chicken thighs that are perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with foil or lightly grease it.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness at the thickest part of the thigh.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle pan juices over the chicken before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
