  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Pickles
  • Lettuce
  • Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix together flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Dredge each marinated chicken breast in the flour mixture and place them in the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with fried chicken, pickles, lettuce, and hot sauce on a hamburger bun.
