A comforting and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken breasts and Parmesan sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated. If you prefer a bit of spice, add the crushed red pepper flakes.
  6. Cook your choice of pasta (linguine or spaghetti) according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them back to the skillet with the sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix everything until well combined and heated through.
  8. Add the butter and let it melt into the sauce for added richness and flavor.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, warm in a skillet over low heat or microwave in short intervals.
