A comforting cheesy pasta bake with ground beef and marinara sauce, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the ground beef in a skillet with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.
  5. Mix the cooked pasta with the beef-sauce mixture, ricotta, and half of the mozzarella.
  6. Transfer to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Pairs well with salad and garlic bread. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
