  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (or gluten-free breadcrumbs)
  • To taste: salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Vegetable oil (as needed for frying)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts thinly, aiming for half an inch thickness.
  2. Prepare the breading stations with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  3. Season the flour with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Bread each slice of chicken by dredging in flour, dipping in eggs, and coating with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain excess oil on paper towels before serving.

Notes
