Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine all ingredients. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
