Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes per side.
