A flavorful chicken dish coated in a spicy-sweet honey sriracha sauce, perfect for family dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or steamed vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce Mixture: In a bowl, mix honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk them together until well-combined and the honey is fully dissolved into the liquid.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Take your chicken breasts and coat them thoroughly in the sauce mixture.
  3. Heat the Skillet: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until hot.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Add the chicken to the skillet and let it cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side until browned, then turn it over and cook for another 6-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve it Up: Once the chicken is cooked, serve it with rice or vegetables and drizzle any leftover sauce over the top.

Notes

For additional flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. This recipe can also be adapted for tofu or tempeh for a vegan option.
