A delightful Korean-inspired dish combining sweet and spicy flavors with succulent chicken thighs.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs (boneless, skin on)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (grated)
  • 3 stalks of green onions (white and green parts separated)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Debone the chicken by removing the bones while keeping the skin intact.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine garlic, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Whisk everything until smooth and well-combined.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  5. Preheat your grill, oven, or skillet according to your cooking method of choice and cook the chicken until done.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes. You can substitute apple cider vinegar for rice vinegar if needed.
