A delightful fusion of gooey chocolate and fresh strawberries in a simple yet impressive dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Combine the melted butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract into the butter-sugar mixture.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped strawberries without breaking them down too much.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For added decadence, drizzle melted chocolate on top. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh strawberries.
