  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the tahini marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  4. Cook the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in the hot skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Rest the chicken: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.
