Ingredients
Scale
1.5 to 2 pounds pork tenderloin
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha in a bowl to create a flavorful marinade.
Marinate the pork tenderloin in a resealable bag or shallow dish with the marinade for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Prepare the pork by letting it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes after removing it from the marinade.
Sear the pork tenderloin in a hot large oven-safe skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
Add the reserved marinade over the seared pork and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
Roast the pork for about 15-20 minutes, until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C), basting halfway through.
Rest the pork for 5-10 minutes after removing from the oven.
Slice into medallions, serve on a platter, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For optimal flavor, marinate the pork overnight. Pairs well with jasmine rice or stir-fried vegetables.
