Transform simple baby back ribs into a melt-in-your-mouth delight with smoky dry rub and BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • Baby back ribs
  • Smoky dry rub (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper)
  • BBQ sauce
  • Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Generously apply the dry rub all over the baby back ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down.
  5. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. Once the time is up, carefully remove the top foil and generously brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes.
  8. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra tenderness, let the ribs marinate with the dry rub overnight. Keep an eye on the ribs while caramelizing; you want them golden but not burnt.
