A comforting dish featuring marinated chicken thighs topped with a rich creamy white sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken thighs
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the marinade. Add the chicken thighs, coat well, and let them marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken thighs and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Melt butter in another pan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in heavy cream until smooth and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Top the cooked chicken with the creamy white sauce, letting it drizzle down the sides.
  5. Serve with rice or fresh vegetables, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Feel free to substitute chicken thighs with breasts for a leaner option.
