A flavorful Italian sub packed with layers of meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • Italian bread or sub rolls
  • Sliced salami
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Sliced ham
  • Provolone cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Onions, sliced
  • Bell peppers, sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Italian bread or sub rolls in half lengthwise.
  3. Layer the salami, pepperoni, and ham on the bottom half of the bread.
  4. Add provolone and mozzarella cheese on top of the meats.
  5. Top with lettuce, tomato, onions, and bell peppers.
  6. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  7. Place the top half of the bread back on and wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Leftover sandwiches can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
